Time to Begin: OB Sonography
Get certified by Sonography Now through this six month course. Designed to certify medical professionals to begin independent obstetrical ultrasound scanning, you can be confident in your skills with Time to Begin: OB Sonography. Sixty to seventy hands-on scans are performed during an initial two-week boot camp, preparing the trainees to complete a competency exam. Upon successful completion of the six month course, trainees will achieve Sonography Now certification to perform limited OB Sonography.

Pajama Doppler

Polish Your Skills
Designed to help you where you need it most, this option is customized to the needs of the medical professional already experienced in sonography. Whether it is to master new technologies, such as 3D or 4D, or refresh skills learned in the past, those in need will receive competent, professional training from Sonography Now in this tailored course.
The Registry Prep Now curriculum is designed to prepare a qualified medical professional to sit for the ARDMS registry exam. The foundation of this twelve month program is the opening five day seminar, called Sound Foundations in Las Vegas, NV. This seminar will provide groundwork for didactics in ultrasound physics and OB/GYN sonography. Class relationships will be established, scanning skills will be assessed, and personalized goals and imaging exercises will be assigned. Sound Foundations can be taken as a precursor to enrollment in Registry Prep Now within one year, or it may be taken separately.
ReCertification
Manage liability through quality ultrasound imaging. Because sonography is operator dependent, it is recommended that the sonography skills of the medical professional be evaluated annually. Our ReCertification course is for those who were certified by Sonography Now more than one year prior, or who have never had their skills certified by Sonography Now. The medical professional will be evaluated on skill and image optimization; then, upon successful completion of the competency exam, annual certification of skills by Sonography Now will be awarded.

Infant and Fetal Loss: The Sonographic Connection

Adverse diagnoses may be encountered in any medical clinic. Although the diagnosis is made by the physician, the sonographer and client advocate play important roles in guiding the client’s immediate course of action. It is important to know how to approach the client and provide support in their time of need. This one-day course is intended for all members of the medical team. Following course completion, attendees should be able to describe the process of medical care and follow-up, initiate therapeutic conversation with the client regarding the outcome, counsel in a time of grief, and recognize the stages of grief.
